This is a cookbook with a difference: the recipes were chosen by children for children. Children helped to test them and it was the majority view that decided what should be included. The result is a well-balanced selection of recipes for all ages and all occasions. Brains with parsley sauce and tripe and onions got the thumbs down, but the panel approved plenty of salads, wholefood bakes, fruity desserts and vegetarian dishes alongside old favourites such as kebabs, pizza, pasta and chicken drumsticks as well as sweet treats such as rocky road ice cream and lamingtons.
