ImageThink, New York City's only graphic recording firm, was founded by Nora Herting and Heather Willems in 2009. They use the practice of graphic facilitation to help organisations of all sizes unlock creative potential, train their teams, and communicate their ideas with simple visuals. Done live, without the assistance of any previous materials, their artists listen, synthesise, and translate ideas into mural-size visual summaries. ImageThink has visualised the big ideas of companies and leaders across 4 continents in 13 countries. In the service of creating approachable and engaging visual summaries, Nora and Heather hear the most sought-after businesspeople and creative thinkers espouse the best ideas across industries, such as technology, social media, and design. ImageThink has been noted as one of seven highlights of SXSW 2014 by the Wall Street Journal, written up in the Huffington Post and featured on the Today show. Their client list is filled with Fortune 500 companies, including Time Warner, Disney, Google, Roche, McKinsey, and many well-respected agencies, including Ogilvy, BBDO and McCann Erickson, among others. A cofounder of ImageThink, Nora's background as an art educator has enriched her ability to help businesses translate complex ideas into clear, powerful images. Nora received a MFA from Ohio State University. She has received several awards and residencies for her personal artwork. Nora has taught at Denison University, The Ohio State University, and as a guest lecturer at Columbia University and the New School. Before cofounding ImageThink, Heather worked alongside Nora supporting business strategy workshops for Capgemini Consulting. Heather also has a background in art education and is a photographer with an MFA from Ohio State University. Her work has been exhibited in New York City and around the United States.
